Welcome to Ko.mi! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ko.mi website at www.komihair.co.uk (the "Website") and the booking and provision of barber services offered by Ko.mi (the "Services").

By accessing or using our Website or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Website or Services.

1. About Ko.mi & Our Services

Ko.mi is a barber shop providing professional hair cutting, styling, shaving, and other related grooming services.

2. Website Use

  • Eligibility: By using this Website, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

  • Intellectual Property: All content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Ko.mi or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. 3. Bookings & Appointments

  • How to Book: Appointments can be booked through our Website booking system. We use Square appointment booking as our partner for tracking services. Before booking please review our direct vendors’ terms & conditions.

  • Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. You will receive a confirmation of your appointment (e.g., via email or text message). Please check this carefully.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling:

    • If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment time.

    • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than the required notice period will result in a charge.

  • No-Shows: If you do not arrive for your appointment and do not provide the required notice, you will be considered a "no-show." No-shows will be charged the full service fee. Repeated no-shows may result in a requirement for pre-payment for future bookings or refusal of future service.

  • Late Arrivals: Please aim to arrive on time for your appointment. If you anticipate being late, please call us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but if you are significantly late (e.g., more than 15 minutes), we may need to reschedule your appointment or reduce the service duration to avoid impacting subsequent clients. The full service fee will still apply.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Service Prices: Our service prices are displayed on our Website and at our barber shop. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any changes will not affect confirmed bookings.

  • Payment: Payment for Services is due in full at the time of your appointment. We accept [e.g., cash, major credit/debit cards].

  • Refunds: Services rendered are generally non-refundable. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please inform us immediately after your appointment, and we will endeavour to find a suitable resolution. Products purchased may be eligible for a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase, provided they are unused and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when making a booking or using our Services.

  • Health & Allergies: It is your responsibility to inform your barber of any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, medical conditions, or medications that may affect your service, particularly concerning hair dyes or other products. Failure to disclose such information may affect the safety or outcome of your service. (Refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle sensitive data).

  • Conduct: We expect clients to behave respectfully towards our staff and other clients. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone exhibiting inappropriate, abusive, or disruptive behaviour.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Ko.mi does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ko.mi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Website or Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Website; (c) any content obtained from the Website; and (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.
